Windermere Holiday Lodge and White Cross Bay Log Cabin are 3 Bedroom, Self Catering, Dog / Pet Friendly Holiday Lodge's / Log Cabin's located at White Cross Bay Holiday Park, between Bowness-on-Windermere
and Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District and only a short stroll from the shores of lake Windermere  

As a child, we would often holiday at the Lake District, and although the joys of staying under canvas did have it's challenges at times we always looked forward to returning for our next adventure. All through my adult life I've always had a soft spot for the Lake District and in particular lake Windermere, Bowness-on-Windermere and Ambleside. I love going back to the lakes whenever I can and now find that my wife and children (and dog) all share my desire and as a family “we love the lakes”. One day we dream of buying our dream cottage in Windermere and opening our curtains to breath in the landscape of the lakes and mountains, but until then, along with our parents we have bought two beautiful holiday lodges at White Cross Bay which are just a few minutes from the water's edge of Windermere; which we think are in the perfect location for great family holidays, walks with our dog and exploring the many delights of the Lake District. 

Windermere Holiday Lodge (Grasmere 1) and White Cross Bay Log Cabin (Skiptory 23) are both maintained to very high standards and are professionally cleaned with HEPA filters to ensure all our guests, including those who may have dog or pet allergies have a comfortable stay. Each Lodge has a large and spacious living room, with two sofas, coffee tables, gas fire and 32" LCD TVs. Each has a dining area for 6 people with electric panel heating throughout. Well equipped kitchen including microwave, toaster and full size gas cooker and hob. Grasmere 1 has one double bedroom, and two twin bedrooms (one of which is themed on Beatrix Potter and is better suited for children or younger teenagers). Skiptory 23 has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. The Double and Twin bedrooms also have 24" LED TV/DVD combos. Highchairs and cots are also available to rent from reception if needed. Both of our lodges also boast lovely sun catching balconies and decks with partially covered canopies (just in case it rains), with outside tables and plenty of outside seating. Both of our holiday Lodges provide parking for three cars and are located only a few minutes stroll from each other. Boat launching facilities into lake Windermere are provided on the park itself and there is also a woodland dog walking area just a few minutes from each of our lodges.

There is such diversity and an unrivalled choice of things to see and do that we are sure, whether you are considering the lake district as a holiday destination for the first time, or (just like us) you enjoy coming back to a place you love, you will have a great stay in one of our Holiday Lodges.
